Sustainability at Port City Painting
A Thoughtful Approach to Lower-Impact Painting
Port City Painting was an early adopter of low- and zero-VOC paints, long before they became standard across the industry. Today, I still choose products and methods that reduce environmental impact where possible. For clients with allergies, sensitivities, or concerns about indoor air quality, very low-emission options are also available.
Low-Odour, Zero-Emission Options
Most modern interior paints are already low- or zero-VOC. For some people and some spaces, though, that’s not enough.
If you’re preparing a nursery, painting during pregnancy, living with allergies or sensitivities, or simply want to minimize odour and emissions, we can use products chosen specifically for those needs.
Benjamin Moore Eco Spec is one option: a zero-VOC, low-odour, zero-emission interior paint designed for occupied and sensitive environments.
Low VOC doesn’t always mean low odour, so for sensitive clients we pay attention to both.
